PLASTIC SHOPPING BAG’S WOULD BE BETTER!

Purchased the Woods Andes Mitts as the CT product description states “ unbeatable protection, breathable, water proof, critically seam taped”! Mitts split open at the stitching along the finger tip area after minimal use. CT will NOT warranty them as I’m out of the warranty period. Contacted Woods Canada and they don’t look after warranty, notified me to contact CT! First off these mitts are NOT warm and being on the higher end $$ price they should be. Secondly exterior shell of Mitts is NOT water proof in any way, only water proof material is the clear “shopping bag” material found inside the mitts that contains the Dow fill as seen in the picture provided. I’ve never seen a plastic bag that was breathable but maybe once the stitching has failed and the “shopping bag” is ripped they become breathable. I’ve had mitts last YEARS for me and yes the insulation got weak but these Woods Andes Mitts were weak the moment they left the store.

they were warm enough, mostly, but i didn't like the separate fingers as much as i thought i would. plus i couldn't get my coat to easily fit inside of them because the little inner layer was too small but the outer layer didn't go in enough, if that makes sense.
