Q: How is this different from Weiman Quartz clean polish protect? Each product says it can be used on all stone surfaces. Is one a higher gloss?

A: My understanding is that Weiman or for that matter any other brand stone cleaner is a cleaner first and foremost and does not put a polish (typically a silicone layer) on top of the existing sealer layer. One should clean stone surface daily and then occasionally use stone polish after cleaning to prolong the life of the sealer polish layer.

A: This product will not remove stains. It will remove surface residue but not stains, you would need a poultice to remove stains.

This stuff is the best we've found for cleaning and shining our granite countertops, although would not recommend for very dirty or sticky situations. If counters do have a lot of food or cooking residue, give a quick wipe with warm water first and then use this stuff to finish cleaning and bring out the shine. Spray on in a few spots--you don't need a lot--wipe with a paper towel to clean, then finish drying with a fresh paper towel and you'll be rewarded with a shiny, streak-free finish. No hard scrubbing or buffing required.
