Product Details

This solid brass adapter allows you to easily join PEX tubing in your plumbing system. Connecting PEX pipe can be tricky, but this 3/4 inch female sweat coupling helps simplify the process. Simply sweat solder the adapter to your existing pipework, then use PEX cinch clamps or crimp rings to secure the flexible PEX tubing to the adapter. The solid brass construction means reliability and durability for years of leak-free use.

Q: Can anyone answer this question? It doesn't seem that hard. Which end is the 1/2 and which end is the 3/4? Almost 3 years now with no resolution.

A: That is really hard to answer by just a picture, though. My guess is the sweat end is the 1/2" copper. If you have a piece of copper or Pexyou could just check it out. They do have these devices called measuring tapes....

Q: OK, somebody replied to my earlier question but I can't see their reply on the list of answers so here it is: "The male end is 1/2 and goes to pex, the female end is 3/4 and goes to copper line" Thanks to the non-snarky answerer.

A: The adapter isn't 1/2 at all. The one I bought was 3/4 both sides man canadian tire is dumb there is no such adapter they claim 1/2 pex to 3/4 copper
