Living with ankylosing spondylitis means I deal with daily stiffness, chronic pain, and limited mobility — especially through my lower back, hips, and spine. Finding tools that actually help me manage that tension (without making things worse) is incredibly important. The WA:KE Athletic 24-in Foam Roller has become one of the few products I genuinely rely on.
The 24-inch length is perfect because it supports my entire back, making it easier and safer to use on days when my mobility is limited. The firmness and textured surface give enough pressure to release tight muscles without feeling harsh or overwhelming — which is something I struggle with using more aggressive massage tools.
I use it gently along my spine, glutes, and legs when my stiffness is at its worst, and it consistently helps me feel more open and mobile afterward. On flare days, I stick to slow, supported rolling, and on better days I can use the textured ridges for deeper pressure. Either way, it helps reduce that “locked-up” feeling I often get in the mornings or after sitting for long periods.

Very rigid, and firm ridges. Eh? Rigid ridges. I frig'n rekt my back one morning and I've been using this for daily massages on my whole posterior chain. Definitely helps when I use it correctly. Nice build quality, it seems. Cheaper Pls always wants it on sale but w/e yall I got my back back so it's chill, 35 or w/e for life nbd
