Ultimate shared workout space- Quite, Huge and Cle

This is my honest review of WA:KE Diamond Plate Gym Floor Mat. I use it for everything from yoga to high-intensity daily exercises and it has exceeded every expectation.
The standard feature is definitely the width. It is impressively wide so much so that my spouse and I can both use it at the time for many of our floor exercises.
Despite its rugged diamond plate look its offers fantastic support. Its dense and enough to protect my knees and wrists during yoga flows. Providing much better buffer against the floor than a standard thin mat.
It unrolls beautifully and laid flat almost immediately. No annoying curled edges to trip over during workout.
The density of mat is incredible for noise dampening. It absorbs the thud of jumping jacks or burpees which is lifesaver, if you are trying to workout without waking the whole house.
Cleaning is breeze. Unlike foam mats that soak up sweat kike sponge this surface stays on top. A quick wipe with damp cloth after a sweaty session and its a good as new after 60 days. It doesn’t trap odor or dust.

This mat is strong, thick, and well-made. It protects floors from heavy gym equipment and weights. The diamond plate surface helps prevent slipping. At 46" x 93", it’s large enough for most home gym setups. Easy to clean and stays in place. A solid choice for a home gym.

The Wake Athletic Diamond plate gym mat is really good quality. It’s thick and huge when you are using it. It literally covers my room everytime I use it. The installation is very easy you literally open it and start using. It fits and covers my room perfectly fine. I have doing my yoga every morning on wake mat. I have it now about a month and it still looks news. I have real good experience with the quality of the Mat. I would say it is a breathable mat meaning there’s so much room for you to do yoga or any other exercise. It is water resistant and is easy to clean as well. It’s absolutely amazing .

Practical home gym mat

I’ve been using this mat for home workouts like aerobics, weights, and stretching and it feels very sturdy and comfortable. The light cushioning helps reduce floor impact, it stays stable, and it’s easy to clean after workouts (I mean VERY easy to clean! I love it!)

Q: Is this exercise mat made of rubber - we have a new hardwood floor and the specs on the hardwood floor suggests no rubber mats - the specs "Made from water-resistant and lightweight materials" Thanks

A: This particular floor mat ( I have 6 for my home gym area ) is made out of foam. It is kind of thin, BUT it serves the purpose quite well. Princess Auto has similar ones>>>Company is called Prograde Anti-Fatigue Foam Floor Mat and the size is 46x93. Both are good for exercise area coverage. Hope this helps in deciding your purchase!
