Hi, I will tell you that I have had a VTech DECT phone for over 30 years I still have the original. Then I started to notice that the talk time and the battery was shorter. I got a couple batteries and one was not that good then I found one that was. I ordered the new VTech DECT as CT had them on sale. Now I have 2 of the most popular cordless phones. I talk a lot, and now have a backup. Love It..

I returned the phone it was defective. Partly my fault. The seal was broken when I picked it up. I should have grabbed another one that was properly sealed

V Tech phone.

Very poor phone. Very difficult to read the buttons for dialing, etc. Only one setting for number of rings (3). Don't give you the complete manual with the phone. You have to go on line and print it out to get a copy.

A: I found my answer online. There is a 7 hour talk time, however that goes down to 4 hour talk time if using the speaker phone feature. The phone has a 5 day standby time as well.
