Very disappointing - temperature not what it should be - especially for boiling water for tea. Strainer in spout fell out & could not get it to stay in so had to go to store to examine the one on display. No where in the parts listing is there a strainer listed. Glad it was on sale as it wasn't worth the sale price Never mind the original price. Paderno should be ashamed of this product.

We like this kettle. The temperature feature is great for different kinds of tea. The lights are unnecessary, but cool. We actually like the beep when it's ready. Kind of tricky to pour tiny top-ups b/c mesh filter sits a bit proud into the natural path of the water's flow toward the spout -- user error? Lol the lid is nice, too.

I'm sorry I bought this. I bought it because we have the discontinued Paderno stainless steel kettle at work, it was a great appliance, I have no idea why it would be discontinued and replaced with this one that is LESS good. This kettle barely reaches the boiling point before going in to "keep warm" (jokes) mode. It might keep it "warm" but it certainly doesn't keep it hot. Setting it is a useless pain in the ___. I'm going to return it since I haven't gotten used to it and still hate it.

No, I do not recommend this product.
