Hard to beat for portability but with some flaws.

Hard to beat the classic SD if you need a basic set of tools at the lowest possible weight and form factor. It’s a decent choice for a keychain knife and best as a knife to take hiking where every gram counts. However, it has its flaws. I will never understand why Victorianox chooses to have the knife open forwards the key ring on the classic SD. This makes it hard to use the blade without detaching the tool from the keychain. This alone makes the Rambler model superior as an everyday carry. Both the blade and scissors on the Rambler open opposite the key ring, plus that model adds an additional multi tool that’s super useful. The Rambler is more expensive and weights a few extra grams but edges out the classic SD in my view as the perfect keychain SAK. The Classic SD lives in my a ultralight hiking kit and I love it for that use case.
