Love my VC 2-burner BBQ and got this accessory later assuming the folks at Vermont Castings designed this around their BBQs. It is good quality cast iron HOWEVER this is NOT DESIGNED to fit Vermont Castings BBQ's. A major letdown as it is almost an inch too short and doesn't fit nicely into place like the grates do.
