Adhesive is more effective than the Velcro.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The power of the adhesive is pretty remarkable if I do say so myself. The Velcro itself is secure but I wish it would have been stronger despite its secure nature. It’s able to be clipped into any size that you require and it’s great for any surface due to the mild flexibility and also the clipability of the strips to shape them for even using on corners.

Not sure about the 5lb thing but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Velcro is a good brand and we know they make a quality product. We have actually used this strip of tape for a few things; on the backs of a couple remotes, a small piece on this flap of a bag that would not stay down when I wanted it to, and on a bag that we keep my daughters homework. Worked great for the first two but The bag itself doesn’t even weigh a full pound and with papers in it, nowhere near 5 lbs and it just keeps falling down. So it works but not for everything.

Holds strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very Versatile and can be used for a variety of purposes, around the house, in the office, or for crafting. I actually used it to hang up some light weight canvas. The Velcro is strong and durable and holds securely and won't come undone easily.
It is easy to use.
