DONT DO IT. We purchased a US5513 for our rental and waited until the tenants moved out to install it. By the time we installed it, the warranty was over, but I figure it wouldn't make a difference, how wrong was I. On low speed the blower fan barely spins and make a horrible sound like its about to quit, but it you turn it up full blast it blows hard but still has noise. This stove has been used for 2 weeks and im not sure if the blower motor is bad or a controller that operates it. Either way, I shouldn't have to worry and neither should you for a two week used pellet stove.

I've had this stove going on five years now and never had it work right. Can't seem to get the air set right, glass smokes up, pellets stop dropping and thermostat is worthless. Once it hits 80°f it basically shuts down.

Within 6 months the same parts broke or failed or were found to be unsuitable on both - door latch needed welding repair to tighten door fit, low fire sensor needed replacing. Pressure switch vacuum tube needed replacing. Each stove had consumed about two tons of pellets. These were not big deals, not expensive and not difficult to do ourselves. Stoves running great now. If we needed a third we would, indeed, buy it.

The thermostat on our pellet stoves work in a Hi/Lo mode, meaning that they will only go to the lowest setting when it isn't calling for heat and do not shut down.
