Understood the cover is designed to be used for a range of pan sizes but frankly it is too large. The The biggest frying pan we have is 32 cm but the lid extends well beyond meaning you can’t use it on the back burners of the range. A range of sizes for a more customized and appropriate fit would be preferred. Also, rather pricey for what it is. Otherwise, it works as intended. Appreciate the small engineered hole so that steam can escape

Q: The website description says the item is oven and dishwasher safe, however the item has a plastic handle and the package says not dishwasher safe. Which description is correct?

Q: It is concave. How deep does the center goes inside the pan? Could the handle be put on the other side of the lid to make it convex instead of concave?

1 Answer

A: The lid has “steps” in it such that it sits within the diameter of the pot upon which it is placed. This is done to ensure a secure fit. The lid should not be used “upside down” for this reason as the lid would not be secure in its placement on the pot. How deep the lid sits “inside” of the pot/pan depends on the diameter of the pan it is sitting on. The larger the diameter of the pot/pan, the wider “step” of the lid that comes in to play and the deeper the lid sits.
