A: There are 2 pieces they adjust shorter or longer then you put small bolts and nuts in at the right lenght .used them a few times the do burn out over time but beats the cost of a new bbq .

Lies on what the finish is.

The are trying to sell the ceramic ones as the stainless steel. The codes on the site match and the tag flasher selects the ceramic ones and there are no stainless steel ones anywhere to be seen! And I can't even post the picture because calling them out supposedly goes against their guidelines. Maybe don't lie to the customer and sell what's advertised!

No, I do not recommend this product.

I wanted the stainless one I'd previously purchased but when I got home only the porcelain finished heat shield was in the packaging. I had guests and no time to go back and exchange. I needed to start dinner immediately.

There is only 1 item included in the packaging, which is a stainless steel heat plate. It does not include a porcelain coated heat plate. If the wrong item was purchased, or the packaging was tampered with and the wrong item was inside, please return for a replacement at point of sale. Hope this helps!

Happy with this heat shield

Found this shield to appear to be superior to others i have purchased in the past. Easy to put together and install. Not sure of the metal used in construction, but standing up well.
