We bought this rod as it fits into a suitcase. Actually the second one, the first we bought years ago. This newer one the top part snapped on the first cast and we had to return it. Thankfully we had other rods with us... The one we've had for a while is ok, but quite stiff. Don't expect to feel much. Ok for casting though.
