Q: Can these slide on the carpet easily (to make them easier to move around)? I have a storage container from a different brand and they are hard to slide on the carpet like if it was under a bed.

A: These containers don’t slide the best on carpet, I would look for something that has a smooth bottom and not the little feet on the corners.

Q: Can some one confirm the plastic material. Is the plastic polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene, polyester, etc, I'm wondering if this a poly plastic. Can you confirm this is not a PVC or vinyl plastic? Can someone please confirm this, thank you.

The lids are open and closed by various staff daily. We are replacing only 6 weeks after original purchase of a large quantity. It would be nice if we could replace lids only (or have the budget to buy better quality).
