Q: Is this tray guaranteed formaldehyde-free and has no toxic chemicals like MDF?

A: All wood off gasses formaldehyde. Obviously if Canadian tire sells it, it meets requirements for Canada. If you are that concerned you can let it off gas in your garage or deck for a few days or buy an air purifier with a carbon filter. Mdf is not a toxic chemical and cutlery is typically stainless steel. You wouldn’t be worried about it being absorbed. This tray is made of bamboo … better to use vs plastic which contains endocrine disrupting chemicals. Again that wouldn’t be a big concern with stainless steel as it’s not being absorbed by your cutlery. I hope you find this helpful

A: 2 slots are 2 1/2’’ X 13 1/4’’, 3 slots are 1 7/8’’ X 8 3/4’’, 1 slot is 2’’ X 12 1/2", 1 slot is 3 1/4’’ X 6 1/2"
