Top compartment fills up with water

Obviously, this Tundra tested was tested on a nice sunny day. I liked the idea of having a small top compartment, but I never paid too much attention to the design. I did notice the rubber seal on the bottom compartment, which I liked. Everything will stay nice and clean and dry in the bottom compartment. Shortly after installing mine, which was fairly easy, I opened the main compartment and got soaked. The top compartment filled up with water, and dumped all over me. There is no seal on the top part, but there is a lip, which should take care of all but the most wet situations, except, that the cover is on a downward angle towards the hinge, which prevents the water from draining, and causes it to overflow the lip and go into the compartment. This might be ok when riding, but as soon as you stop, if it's raining, it will fill up, unless you park on an uphill incline.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great product, easy to install,.Perfect size for atv essentials. Everything stays dry. I wish I bought this ages ago. No more milk crates and bungee straps. I purchased on sale...made it even better.
