Son loves it but it ripped in 24 hours

Son loves the costume! He has been playing in the play room with it all afternoon since we opened it. He brought it into our room this morning to put on and it has a rip right at the neckline. Unfortunately because of the material I'm not sure I'm going to be able to fix it. He's now super disappointed and I'm frustrated that it didn't last an afternoon.

My son wears a size six in boys but is tall and skinny. Fits like a glove just a little too short on the ankles haha ... loves the Darth Vader simulator but he did drop it on the tile floor and it came completely apart. Luckily husband was able to piece it back together.
