    so it's a bit of an education on my part, because I thought all helmets sold in Canada were subjected to CSA safety standards, but I received this one and found it was defective. I have since returned it to ctire and received a credit in ctire money.my concern is that no effort would be made to alert the manufacturer of the defect. I was told that it would simply be thrown away. I no longer have the helmet to verify but I didn't find any information that could confirm that it was ever CSA approved or not so there's no way to follow up on this unfortunately. I think buyer's need to be made aware however, so this is the reason for my review.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
