No Handlebar Height Adjustment

Bought this bike for my wife last year. Her arms are going numb from leaning on handlebars. Discovered, hoping to raise them a few inches, that it is not possible with this model. I definitely would not have bought it if I knew that, then.

Q: In the description it mentions "add a 21 shift gear system" - why would I ADD it? Is it not coming with the bike? Another user in the Q & A section states as well it would not come with a full set of gears. So does it or dioes it not have gears?

A: It's a figure of speech, yes this bikes comes with 21 speeds. Shimano Revo shifters and Shimano Tourney front and rear derailleurs.

A: The height and roads and path travel is not a problem but it does not have a full set of gears, so now low gear for hills, etc:

A: The stem connected to the handlebar can be adjusted in height slightly using spacers. It is recommended to see a bicycle technician in regards to this.

A: We’d recommend you have a bike department associate at your local Canadian Tire store help you with this. When installing a child seat make sure you pay attention to safety warnings and cautions that are in the child seat manual prior to riding.
