I purchase the Starfrit MightiCan Manual Can Opener with Soft Grip, Black to replace my smaller Starfrit Manual Can Opener. To be honest I liked my smaller Starfrit Can Opener. It was not as stiff as the MightiCan Manual Can Opener, which is more heavy-duty in design and I suppose designed to open larger cans but quite frankly my smaller Starfrit opened all of the soup cans that I was purchasing to meet my basic cooking requirements. The MightiCan Starfrit is built for a stronger plumber who needs to open large cans. While it cost a few bucks more it wasn't better in my opinion for what I needed to do.
