Not your fathers socket set set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this socket set a few weeks ago and have found it to be much better than my Sears Craftsman socket sets. The first thing that you notice is obviously the color, the gunmetal chrome definitely sets this tool apart from your other socket sets. The laser etched markings on the sockets make it much easier to identify the size than the normal stamped variety. The ratchet and sockets work smoothly and are extremely strong . The set with a pretty good carrying case but it would be much better with a standard clamshell case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Stanley FATMAX® 1/2 in. Drive 22-piece Gunmetal Chrome Mechanics Tool Set to review. Can tools be called beautiful? This Stanley socket and ratchet set qualifies in both appearance and use. I waited to provide the review until I tested the set in real world usage, it works perfectly. The fit of the sockets and extension are nice and positive, the ergonomics of the ratchet feels good in my hands. I do need to add that this photo was taken after use and before I wiped the sockets and ratchet down. It still looks far cleaner and nicer than my hands do. The smooth finish is as practical as it is eye-catching. Very easy to clean up and store this gunmetal finish tool set in the provided tool carrier to await the next project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gunmetal Chrome finish is really terrific looking.....socket sizes are laser-etched = super easy to read.....both SAE + Metric sizes.....very nice plastic storage rack which can be hung on wall.....Lifetime no-hassle Warranty.....smooth edges to all sockets + ratchet handle....fine 120-tooth ratcheting.....extra-long ratchet handle for more leverage......absolutely no complaints. A tool set you will be proud to own !!
