Needed 2 more bike holders

The main knob piece uses cheap material and the threads got stripped on first use. I now lash the bikes to the frame. I need 2 more bike holders and am nervously going to CT to get these. Generally, I am disappointed with this product and regret not buying better quality.

Purchased this at the Winkler Manitoba Canadian tire. Would of been nice to know that it was a return and most of the hardware was missing. Trip to home hardware and 15 bucks later had all the hardware needed. Instructions were difficult to understand, maybe because a couple pages were missing.

Missing parts

I bought this rack for a trip to the mountains. Because of missing pieces I didn't get to use it. I might keep it for other trips but it will require some trips to the hardware store first! I see other reviewers have had the same issue. If you are buying this rack factor in the time/cost of "topping up" the parts that come in the box. Also, if you have a full suspension bike it may not fit your bike. The stabilizer bar is not very long so I'm going to have to disassemble and reassemble to make it work. (Of course once disassembled I might just take it back to C-tire...)

Most bolt holes line up

Easy to assemble except for one of the two carrier assemblies had a bolt hole that was out of alignment with the crossbar holes by 1/4". Had to exchange the entire package and then reassemble.

Great Product ;However,

There were wrong bolts/nuts packaged with the product. For example, there were three H 4.5" bolts and only one H 5" bolts instead of two of each. Also, there were only 7 P bolts instead of 8. There were also not enough K nuts. We purcased the missing bolts and nuts at a local hardware store. Easy to put together, strong, and very good value even though there was missing parts.
