Q: What is the mix ratio on the detergent mixer? Like how many parts water does it mix with 1 part detergent?
4 years ago- A: To a certain point, the mix ratio doesn't really matter, as you control the fluid injection rate with the adjusting dial on the foam blaster wand. If you went 20 /1 ( parts water to dish soap ), you might have to open the valve all the way to get decent foam. With the mix valve fully open, it goes through the tank of mix pretty quick. I went about 4 or 5 parts water to 1 part "Dawn" dish washing detergent. So, about a 20% to 25% mix ratio. With the valve in the closed position, it was obvious that a bit of soap was getting into the stream. At full mix, it was insane!! Wow !! Covered the truck in an inch of foam in a heart beat!.. I giggled like a schoolboy. So, overall, it doesn't matter what the mix ratio in the tank is, as you balance it with the valve. The only advantage to going with a "skinny " mix ratio, is that you stop yourself from blazing through what can be very expensive chemicals. But trust me, put the cheapest Dollar store dishwashing liquid in the tank at a 50/50 ratio, pull the trigger, and giggle as you bury your vehicle in foam!3 years agoHelpful?

Q: Ummmm.. So this pressure washer is 193 HP and has a detergent tank capacity of 185 US Gal????? I humbly suggest you fix your decimal places, on a bunch of specs for this unit, CTC.
