My old Shop-Vac lasted close to 25 years and its demise was partly of my doing. The new model I bought has much more power including the conversion to a blower, larger hoses and has a greater capacity. I am quite happy with my Initial testing of it.

The included manual is far too confusing and covers too many versions of the product, nevertheless it's not a big problem to assemble this Shop Vac just looking carefully at the parts provided. There is no small hose brush (the type with bristles) provided in the kit, that's a disappointment. Overall, the product is solid and works well, but I'd suggest users cover the Vacuum filter disk as they are expensive and its life can be extended by purchasing cheap disk covers over the Internet, just google vacuum filter disk covers.

Have owned shop vacs for decades. This one is equal to the other I have owned. Does everything I need in the garage wet or dry. Features like onboard storage and the exhaust filter are helpful and time saving. Even the longer cord helps out.

Q: Thank You, Canadian Tire Team. I need a floor nozzle for carpets - a bristle brush along the top of the nozzle to "scrape" carpet debris into suction. I will buy this item plus extras if you can find this part for me. All else is good.

A: It does not work for carpets by pulling the dirt away from the vacuum suction. It's a broom. I have seen this item at the store, but no-one can find the carpet nozzle attachment. So no sale. Unless Canadian Tire can post a link, I won't buy.

Q: What Horse Power? What hose diameter? This does NOT do all floors. Can a carpet attachment be bought for this model at Canadian Tire? Can a HEPA filter be bought for this model at Canadian Tire?
