Lost pieces

I bought this combo for a multi day backpacking trip. First day in the reel fell apart while hiking and a screw from the bail was lost due to the lousy bag design. Very disapointing experience.

Nothing Ugly 'bout this Stik, so worth it

I always had a space issue, with fishing rods. So when I saw this one and being an Ugly Stik, I had to have it. Unlike the other collapsible sticks I did try this one is heavier, the Shakespeare Reel I have no real comment about but it works. I swapped out the reel for a Shimano and life was all rips and cels. The carrying case for it also is tough and hides well in the trunk of the car, so any point in time I can find a nice quiet fishing hole and get to casting. Great purchase get some more back in stock please.
