I had 1250sq feet of exposed aggregate concrete to seal. This was easy to apply, dried quickly and I had sealant left over after 2 coats with the 1 pail! The first coat doesn't change the look after the acid wash but the second coat gives a subtle wet look.

Seems to be a good product. It sealed the sand between pavers as long as enough sealant was applied. The coverage was stated as 150 to 300 square feet per gallon. I got less -- about 130 square feet per gallon. I used satin and the pavers are not very slippery when wet, so safe to walk on.

A: Used on my cement driveway- don’t know about preventing weeds from growing through. But in my passed experience weeds will grow through anything eventually

A: I did notice it penetrate a bit into the concrete. It took 2-3 coats to totally seal. Bought it to seal concrete in arena I work at.

Q: My driveway was sealed several years ago by professional but I am not sure if he used water or solvent based sealer. Will these sealer work on covering both types or will I have compatibility issues like peeling/flaking etc?

A: Hi RickyRicardo, Unfortunately, we have not tested our Seal-Krete Clear-Seal Concrete Protective Sealer on other sealers. This sealer is water-based and you may experience peeling or delamination over oil-based sealers. If you decide to try this product, make sure to test on a small area first after cleaning the surface really well.

A: Salut, Grande question! Nous ne pensons pas que notre scellant protecteur Seal-Krete Clear-Seal adhère correctement au béton estampé car ils sont généralement scellés. Vous pouvez effectuer un test en laissant tomber de l'eau sur le béton pour voir s'il s'imprègne ou non. Si l'eau perle, il y a un scellant qui empêchera l'adhérence. Q: Hi there, Wondering if this can be applied over a painted cement floor in my basement. I want something to protect the painted logo on the floor from scuffs made by rolling office chairs. Floor was painted with acrylic floor paint. Thank you.

A: Hi Louis, Our Seal-Krete Clear-Seal is for use over one-part water-based coatings only. It is not recommended over acid-based stains or oil-based coatings. Freshly painted surfaces must have cured for a minimum of 72 hours. Paint must be sound (not blistering or peeling). Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned with a solution of Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) and water. Rinse well and allow to dry. We hope this new information is helpful.

Q: What can I use as a grit to make the surface non-skid? I don't see any item listed at the store.

A: Hi RockNTrees, We do manufacture one called Rust-Oleum Anti-Skit Additive, which can be used with epoxies, latex or oil-based paints or stains to create a non-slip surface.
