Works be mindful of placement

Stays where I put it. Does need the base plate supported as will slide out of the vents. Once I figured that out, I put the unit at the bottom of the vent so the base was on the vent trim is fine. Would put hooks on the retainer that goes into the vents, that way it can’t slid out. If you desire to place higher in the vent grill. Since I placed near the bottom of the vent, the unit has stayed put. Remember some vents are stiff to move vs others are not, this makes a difference in mounting. The design is ok but has room to become better. Price is a bit high for what you get. Does work.
