Safety 1st EverSlim All-in-One Convertible Child Car Seat, Dunes Edge

I’ve bought two of these so far. I love that it’s not so bulky and feels very safe for my kiddo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE that this car seat can do all stages from birth to childhood. It saves having to constantly buy new seats and it looks amazing! The seat is super comfy and it’s so nice to have cup holders too. No more lugging the baby into the car in a heavy car seat. Definitely recommend!!!

This carseat was simple to install by myself (38 year old woman with back issues), I got it out of the box and in the car in under 15 minutes. Overall this seat is great, I removed the extra accessories for younger kids as my daughter is 4, but not quite heavy enough for the booster seat. She was able to easily get in and out of the seat herself and said it was very comfortable to sit in. "I like my new seat better!" The magnetic closures are easy to do, but also easier than her previous seat (Nuna) to take off. My daughter can remove them herself and it's a bit of a concern, hence the 4 stars. The cup holders are a great feature and we really like the snack topper that can be added. It keeps my back seat much less "goldfishy."

While pregnant with my third child my husband and I tossed around ideas on how we could make 3 car seats work in our single back row vehicle, thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel that conversation became easily solvable when they provided me with the EverSlim All-in-One Convertible Car Seat in exchange for my honest feedback. The slim design was noticeable upon unboxing. This car seat can easily go from baby to toddler to child booster mode with a few adjustments, my favorite being the one hand height adjustment button, saving me time and frustration! My children range in age from 1 month, 4y and 6y which gave me the unique opportunity to try out multiple seat settings including the 5 position adjustable base. The infant back facing was a great fit for my little guy, the removable infant inserts provide an extra soft padding while the material is breathable and easily washed. The rear facing level line ensured we had the perfect installation fit for my little one. The forward facing mode was "so comfy" according to my 4yr old who begged for us to let her have the car seat but of course she was met by the 6yr old who also wanted to try it out! If I could change anything on this car seat it would be the style of lower anchor belt hooks, installing the hook clip around the anchor in the car is easily done but takes some effort and finagling to remove, this is not a deal breaker for me, the clip is secure and safe which is always top priority! Overall the EverSlim was a hit with the kids and I love that this carseat can take you from infant/5lbs to 10years/100 lbs. The SecureTech Magnetic chest clip provided extra peace of mind with the green locked / red unlocked identifier. The removable cup and snack holder are top rack dishwasher safe which is an added bonus! But the best part about this car seat is you could easily fit three of these in a single row safely, secured and not feel like you're squishing the seats in, so if limited space is an issue for you this car

We have a small car, in a small 3 car garage shared with other people in our building in the city. For these reasons (and an eventual second child), my husband and I are both THRILLED with the slimmer footprint of this car seat! It's comfortable for my daughter, and has enough features that we don't feel we are missing anything despite it being a bit smaller! I would definitely recommend this seat to any friends and family looking for a new seat, especially those with smaller cars, or another seat already in their car.
