knives are great had them for about a year now haven't let me down. for the people that say they are rusting if you read it says don't leave them in water but who leave knives sitting in water?? if you use the knives what they are intended for they will last you a long time abuse them well don't blame the knife.

Q: Are these dishwasher safe? They say “forged”, so are they stainless steel and what quality? Will the heat of the drying cycle in a dishwasher affect the brittleness of the knives?

A: They will rust if they are wet or damp for even a short period of time. Mine rusted badly in the dishwasher.

A: Every blade of any kind can be sharpened. Steel does well on whetstones and ceramic knives need a diamond stone to redo the edge when dull.
