Amazing Product

This stuff is insane. It looks clear to the eye, but it blurs out perfectly! I really like this stuff. Frosted glass has come a long way. We used it on our clear bathroom door instead of buying a new door. We saved money and used this product.

Despite my best efforts, this stuff drips and doesn’t provide a super even coat. I was only spraying a small area, but it’s not a good product. The other brand costs much more evenly.

For the best finish and to avoid drips, we recommend applying several light coats, a few minutes apart, verses trying to achieve full coverage with one coat. You also want to ensure that you are holding the can upright 10-12" from the surface and spraying in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface and in motion while spraying as well. Let’s see how we can help! A: Most paints can be removed from glass just by scraping them off with single edge razor blade without damaging or scratching the glass.

Q: It says minimum 10° Celsius for use. Does that mean it has to be over 10° even though I’m applying it to the interior of the window?

A: Hi Jord15, Yes, the temperature where you are applying, inside or out, needs to be above 10C when using our Specialty Frosted Glass Spray Paint. Keep in mind, our dry times are based on 21C for the coating to dry sufficiently.

Q: If I apply this to the outside of the glass of a lamp with a halogen bulb, will it be okay with the heat?

A: Our paints, like our Frosted Glass spray paint, can withstand heat up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. As long as you believe the surface won't get that high in temperature, your coating will hold up. If the temperature exceeds 200 degrees Fahrenheit, the coating will flake and peel off.

Q: What product do I use to get this off my window? I applied it and don't like the look of it. It also had quite strong fume smells, so I would suggest to anyone avoid spraying inside if possible.

A: The Specialty Frosted Glass spray should only applied to the interior portion of a pane of glass, but will withstand exposure to sun coming through glass.

A: The Specialty Frosted Glass spray is for use on the interior side of glass only. It should not be applied to the exterior portion of a glass pane. From the interior side it resists UV light that may be filtering in quite well.
