A: Hi an an artist this was used on granite stone (curling rock). Paint is not water based. Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Paint + Primer Spray Paint: All-purpose oil-based spray enamel paint. For use on wood, metal, wicker and crafts. Primer spray paint has a durable finish.
