You also want to ensure that you are holding the can upright 10-16" from the surface and spraying in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Q: I used this paint on the inside of my princecraft yukon fishing boat. It looks great. Here is my concern, what can I use to prevent the paint from chipping off?

A: If the paint is already chipping then it didn’t adhere. If you have a good finish and you’re trying to preserve the paint job then top coat with an oil based varnish. I use spray paint all the time on wood, metal, plastic and if I top coat it annually I have no problem with chipping or fading. Good luck!

A: I used this paint in a matte cream for chairs. The matte is matte. Sprays on really well. A year later still perfect. Hope this helps.

A: Hi Dave, Great question! As long as the surface temperature does not exceed 200F, our Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover spray paint can be used on your lampshade. Just keep in mind, the heat may cause discolouration on the shade. And it's always best to test on a small area first.
