Q: is this tape made for a hockey stick

A: Not for hockey sticks. Works great for shin pads. As well, works great wrapped around the tops of your skates if your skates are older or if your ankles are weaker.

A: Not good. You definitely want packing tape for that. This won’t hold a great deal of weight.
