Damaged/Scratched Gate

Damaged/Scratched, two large scratches on the gate, plus another smaller one and the lock mechanism was badly scuffed. This was the second one we bought after returning the first one that was damaged. The safety installation stickers are also difficult to remove without an adhesive remover. It’s a nice gate but frustrating when it’s damaged.

It's perfect!!

At first, I was skeptical but after installing it we're very satisfied. Stepping over the structural support is no problem and really not an issue. Very well constructed, works great and looks great. I went back to Canadian Tire for two more but they only had one left. I'll get the third one as soon as it comes in. Also, it's one of the only gate I could find with the hight I needed.

Baby gate unsafe

I would not recommend this baby gate. We bought it for the top of the stairs. When you open the gate it has a support bar at the bottom that you have to step over. As well the gate itself was unsteady and not safe When I returned it I was only able to get a store credit at Canadian tire as they considered it used however we only put it up and took it down because it was unsafe.
