Plumr, if you used this coaxial cable with a TV antenna, the next step is performing a new channel scan (often labeled “Channel Scan,” “Auto Program,” or “Auto Tuning”) in your TV’s settings menu. Even with everything connected correctly, a TV will not display over-the-air channels until that scan is completed, and any time you change the cable, antenna, or connection path, a new channel scan is required to update the channels based on the antennas new position.
