Rod is ok, Reel is Trash.

Really disappointed in the quality of the reel, avoid if possible. Rod is ok. I didn't expect much from the drag system for the price, but this is worse than the old South Bend stuff.

Fishing rod was fine when eventually got it. Checked online to check availability before driving to saskatoon to purchase. Got there, none on display. Customer service spent about twenty minutes looking around as they were still apparently in stock. Couldn't find but had in warehouse and she asked if I wanted to go pick one up or have one taken to store. I opted for one to come to store. She said it would be a five to ten minute wait. Half hour later, I finally gave up. When I got home I ordered online for IN-STORE pickup. Selected store and thought nothing of it. Next trip to city went to store to pick up, waited ten minutes to see customer service only to be told in-store pickup is actually go to the warehouse to pick up. Absolutely ridiculous going show for a fishing rod. Canadian Tire, please go forth and ingest a satchel of Richards!

Rod quality is not up to par. Bent crooked eyes with terrible epoxy job and the drag is rough at best. For better options in this price e range
