Q: How much more zinc is in Q.S. defy than Q.S. regular 5W30 ? is there a spec sheet available for zinc levels in automotive oils ?

A: Hello Good day! Since this product is an API SN Rated oil. Zinc and Phosphorus level is both at 800ppm. You can refer to the TDS that can be found on www.epc.shell.com or www.lubechat stating that the product is API SN. Hope this helps! Regards, Shell Technical Information Center

Q: Defy Availability - 10W40? The 10W40 QS Defy has the highest zinc content (according to QS website ) and also the grade I'd like to use, zinc content aside... Does Cdn Tire carry this grade or plan to?

A: That motor oil is not available at Canadian Tire or listed on the Quaker State Website. If you can provide the type of car you have, and how many KM are on it our vendor can recommend the most appropriate oil.

Q: How often do you need to change oil with this high mileage oil ? I have been using regular oil and change it every 5K

A: You should change this oil at the same rate as non-high mileage oil... the additives they put in help with the seals(supposedly), but they don't extend the useable life of the oil. Every 5K is a good rule of thumb. ;)
