it is a good base charging base unit with in built cooling fan which could be slight loud and could be heard in the living room and charges the 2.0 ah battery within 20 to 30 minutes and the fan goes off after the battery is fully charges. It appears to be well built and durable ( i think ), but overall it serves the purpose for which i bought it for.
