    It’s a hit!

    We are in year 4 of using this dome cover. We put it up before the snow flys so the ground stays bare and then we string Christmas lights up under the cover around the dome to stay lit all winter. The kids play in it every day and they even sometimes have hot chocolate and ham sandwiches picnics in there! We have even set up a movie night in there in -20c we added a heater and had a blast.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    this requires pre-planning. 1 bar is to be removed, not a big deal...BUT it has velcro straps that are meant to wrap around the bottom bars. Pegs or hooks would be more logical since the poles are heavy and frozen to the ground. All in all the kids love it so far but I don't think it's going to last the winter

    Q: Are you supposed to unscrew some bars from the domb climber to make a larger doorway to enter the igloo?

    • A: Please do not unscrew any bars as that would make the Plum Phobos Outdoor Metal Climbing Frame unsafe. The Dome Cover does have a split in it which should be located on the largest opening at the bottom on the Dome which is one of the sides that have the purple bars. This will give a child plenty of room to climb in and out of the Dome.

    Q: Ho is this suitable to use in the winter as a cover to protect the doelme from snow?

    • A: Hello, we would recommend that you do not use the igloo dome cover as a protective cover. The snow and ice will damage the fabric.
