I bought these 4.5" speakers to replace a blown speaker I had in my stereo in my tool chest. There is no way to connect the speakers incorrectly (polarity) as the connectors on the speaker are different sizes (one small and one large). These speakers sound good for what I am using them for. Price was reasonable.
