Q: Why do these feeders leak. Is it because the holes are to close to the bottom.Had the big ones for years never had a problem.These are terrible

A: If the feeder sits in full sun, expansion of air in tank will squeeze out some nectar. Not a big problem.

cracked feeder

The hummingbirds like them but they dont last long, the plastic base where they meet the glass are prone to cracking for no reason, doesn't seem to matter what season it is.

In some cases, temperature changes, over-tightening the base, or exposure to direct sunlight for long periods can cause stress on the plastic and lead to cracking. Hummingbird Feeder

This is an attractive feeder however it empties itself if there is any wind. The syrup is all over my deck. It must be kept level at all times or it spills.

A little small. Only holds about 1 cup of food. Otherwise I am satisfied with my purchase.
