A: Answer from MoPar: "5.7L engine: Mopar SAE 5W-20 engine oil approved to FCA Material Standard MS-6395 such as Pennzoil, Shell Helix, or equivalent is recommended for all operating temperatures. This engine oil improves low-temperature starting and vehicle fuel economy"

A: As a standard rule of thumb i usually change oil and filter every 5000 km. this might be a little excessive but it will make your engine happy. Make sure you change the filter when you change the oil. One without the other is pointless in my opinion.

9 months agoA: I would say NO. You would need an oil designed to be mixed with gas ( a 2 cycle oil). Nor is it designed to be used as a bar lubricant!Ron
