Understand that it is a sticker

I used this as a DIY makeover to edge an ugly bath surround. Yes, you can see the overlap tile below but it is just a sticker on sticker so you have to accept that you get what you pay for. It adheres extremely well and pulls off paint underneath so don't move it around. It is a bit finicky and time consuming to install but if you have a box cutter/straight blade, it gets the backing off easier. My limited expectations of this product are satisfied. It just needs to last a couple of years until we redo the bathroom.

Can see the white backing piece that you stick the next tile on under the part of the tile that overlaps it . You can even see where it says place tile here . Biggest waste of money and time for a backsplash buy a different product .
