A: Thank you for your question. Please note the top has a stopper which slides up to allow the roof to slide up and to one side so you can fill the feeder.

The birds had trouble landing on it. Seemed too slippery. I gave it a few days and even switched it to a spot I had another feeder that the birds came to and they still wouldn't land on it after a few attempts.

Interesting Design - but the birds won’t use it!

For some strange reason no birds will come to this feeder! It is filled with high quality shelled sunflower seeds which we know from many years of experience the birds in our surroundings love. Love the looks of the feeder - but have no idea why the birds don’t like it . Perhaps they are afraid of the reflections coming of the glass panels?
