“Wintergard” — but lenses still fall off

a month ago

I own seven strands of the older non‑Wintergard version of these lights, and every season I end up finding a dozen or more lenses on the ground under the tree. Some blow away, and replacements aren’t easy to find, so I’ve had to buy extra sets just to salvage lenses and LEDs. This year I bought one Wintergard set and one of the older style (inventory clearance sale) to compare. Each set still lost two lenses, which now need to be glued back on. Aside from this ongoing issue, the lights look great and perform well. But in my experience, “Wintergard” seems to be more of a marketing label than an actual improvement.
