I bought this a week ago and I love it. The coffee is rich tasting and very hot, which I love. I find I use less coffee to get the flavour I’m looking for compared to my drip coffee maker.

Handle Melts after first use

NOT TESTED ! The handle melted after the first use. You would think the designers would have the brains to use a wood and metal combination. NOT!!!!!!!!

Q: How will it work when only making 4 cups? I had one where when you made smaller quantities the water did not come up to the basket so you had to make a large pot always...

  • A: The water should NOT touch the basket. The principle of percolating is that the water goes up the stem and flows over the grounds. Just put half the amount of water and coffee and brew!
