I purchased this hut for rainy days since my insulated hut gets to heavy once it gets soaked by rain
Little short for my height but it fits one man nicely little tight with 2

Entry level, decent value for money

Have had for 4 seasons now with no major complaints (~30 trips total so far). Bigger than the same level 2-person Bass Pro shelter (brother has that one). Easy for one person to set up once you get the hang of it - the hardest part is the first step to pop up the roof, after that it's a breeze.
The material obviously isn't super high quality at this price (some visible pin holes and scratches out of the box which are obvious because they let light through in an otherwise dark space). It's also pretty heavy for its size, but that does make it feel pretty sturdy.
Wouldn't pay full price, but on sale for less than 250 its about as good value as you'll get, as long as you don't get a lemon.

I bought this at the end of last year. First tine I used it this year one of the poles shattered. Went to my local store and no way to replace just the pole.

bought it late season last year. Used it the first time the other day and one of the poles splintered. I'm trying to look for new poles and wouldn't you know it. None available.

Q: Canadian tire team, it says in the info on the website as well as on the box that it is safe for fire use inside shelter... so what type of fire use are they talking about?

A: It is NOT safe to have a fire inside this shelter. It no longer says this on the website and it does not say this on the packaging of the product. Never start a fire inside this shelter.

Q: When it says it is safe for fire use, does that mean a campfire? Or more like a propane type fire?

A: According to the warning label, it shows that the tent is made of CPAI84 Flame-resistant fabric, but it’s not fireproof, the fabric will burn if left in continuous contact with a flame source. ****DO NOT START A FIRE INSIDE THE HUT.

Q: Does it keep the rain out? Is it made with tent material? if it is raining outside, do we stay dry inside?

A: The tent fabric material of 77-7376 is water resistant, hydraulic pressure 2000mm. But the tent is not water resistant, due to no tape to seal the stitching hole, the rain will come down through the stitching hole. The product is for winter use, not for summer, so it will be not a problem.
