easier openings needed

nice case but seems to me the flaps to both the charge port and the silence "switch" are too difficult to open. you need two hands and seems the flap should open the opposite way it opens for easier access.

Doesn’t need a screen protector

I’ve had this phone with the same case for 2 and a half years, without a screen protector. I hate screen protectors so this case stood out to me. I dropped it hundreds of times and I to this day still have not one scratch or crack.: it’s made so you don’t need to have a screen protector on your phone

Interferes with functionality of speaker phone

I too have been an OtterBox loyal customer for well over a decade in protecting my iPhones with the Defender series. I have had my iPhone 11Pro for two years with the Realtree/Blaze Orange combo Defender case and up until recently, too busy to address this problem I have had over this span. I have found one Apple discussion board where other uses have wrote of the same problem, which is, phone cases imped telephone conversations while on speakerphone. Where the other party has difficulty hearing my comments conveying that my comments are oscillating in and out. But once I pull the rubber part of the case off, the other party has no problem hearing my words. Otterbox hadn’t heard of this issue but sent me a new one under Warranty, which did not resolve this issue. I am currently looking to try another Otterbox series that hopefully resolves this issue. In sum, I have had 5 Defender series over the years, and never once had an experience where it failed to protect my phones from falls and other imperils.

You really shouldn't have to remove the Defender Series Case to enjoy relatively clear conversations on your iPhone 11 Pro, and we're sorry that you've encountered such unusual audio interference. It might help if you go into the Settings of your device and turn the noise cancelation feature off. In addition, if you happen to be holding your Apple/Otter combo while chatting, do make sure that you're not cupping the lower end, as that could potentially be causing the interference as well.
