The OEMTOOLS® Inner Tie Rod Tool, measuring 1-3/16 and 1-5/16-in, facilitates the turning and removal of the inner tie rod without the need to displace the outer tie rod. This inner tie rod tool slides over the end and tightens the collar, permitting access with an extension. It is designed to remove and install inner tie rods on various GM and some Chrysler products. Compatible with service for inner tie rods on rack and pinion steering assemblies, it accommodates inner tie rods with 1-3/16" and 1-5/16" hex sizes.

    The tool in concept works well. What a pain in the… Took 6 hours to remove my inner toe rod as you can only rotate the tool 1/4 turn to have to remove the tool over and over again..
